Touchdown.. Konnichiwa, Nippon e youkoso

15hours of travel and finally arrive in Tokyo.. Started to wonder what did I get myself into!!
What a culture shock.. especially when it came to buying the food.. Had ABSOLUTELY no idea what was what, ended up going crazy and got noodles. HAHA

Stayed the first night at Narita airport Hostel with our awesome host Yama who picked us up and dropped us at the train station. Top Bloke, Very helpful and a GREAT Place to stay.

NZ.. Land Of the Loooong white...

So have been riding Mt Hutt religiously for the last couple of weeks and it has not stopped improving.. snow has been coming down like it's going out of fashion!! and bringing some epic powder days.. Where the back country has been unreal!!!!

Hutt has also laid out another excellent set-up for the terrain parks and providing some excellent down time when the snow hows been pretty tracked out.

2009 build up..

Due to going over seas to new york - puerto rico.. japan was put on hold until 2010.. which was a disappointment but got to see some different places.. NZ looks like its goin to be an epic season and cannot wait to ride some freshies.. will be home in june just as the fields open, so straight to the mountain to shred that powpowpow!

Goin snowboardin at Niseko in Japan at start of next year, So I have been hitting the South Island fields like there is no tomorrow..

With 250cm base of snow its the best we have in years.. so gots to make the most of it..
